The PLS-5BX offers exceptional versatility by enabling precise monitoring of DEF and LPG within the same probe platform. Purpose-built materials and specialized float kits ensure compatibility with corrosive DEF and high-pressure LPG tanks. This flexibility allows fuel retailers to standardize equipment, simplify maintenance,and improve wetstock visibility across diverse product types.

The PLS-5BX can be equipped with special DEF/LPG adapter kits to accurately measure inventory levels in liquefied petroleum gas tanks using the automatic tank gauge system. The kits include a stainless-steel protective jacket tube for the probe shaft and specialized float assemblies designed to with stand DEF/LPG tank pressures. The protective tube design simplifies maintenance: the probe can be easily removed while leaving the protective tube in place, ensuring convenient servicing without disturbing the tank installation.
