PHOENIX System is a unique manufactured on site’ internal fiberglass system that allows you to upgrade in-service steel or fiberglass single wall tanks to a double walled secondary contained system. The surrounding area and equipment are left undisturbed as the tank retrofit is completed without removing the tanks from the ground. A brand new double walled secondary contained fiberglass lining system is manufactured on your site by trained and certified installers and installed through an existing or new man-way. If required, new steel man-ways could be installed on steel tanks, and new fiberglass man-ways could be installed on fiberglass tanks.

Functional characteristics

1)The PHOENIX System gives you more than twice the protection of any single-walled tank. 

2)Two new corrosion resistant walls are applied using a special three dimensional glass fabric.

3)Fabric is cured using a thermosetting resin in conjunction with proprietary curing system, creating an interstitial space “sandwich” laminate.

4)The annular space between the new inner and outer walls provides continuous leak detection. 5)If there was a breach of the primary wall, the product would be contained by the secondary wall, preventing a leak.
