Recently, in the odor control project of the delayed coking coke cutting water tank, Sinopec Qingdao Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. carried out a special renovation for a certain tank and joined hands with OKet to upgrade it by adopting the full-wetted glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) external floating roof construction technology.

Combined with the product technical advantages of the full-wetted FRP external floating roof itself, such as modular prefabrication, strong corrosion resistance, no splicing seams and lightweight design, as well as the optimization of the floating roof sealing structure and scientific and standardized construction process, this upgrade not only effectively solved the problem of odor emission from the coke cutting water tank, but also significantly improved the safety protection level of the tank. It provides a high-quality example for the environmental protection transformation of special medium storage tanks in the petrochemical industry.
