There is always a city that inspires longing—worth traveling across mountains and seas to reach.

Xi'an, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties,
holds time within its grey bricks and ancient tiles,
where the morning bells of Dayan Pagoda carry the passage of years,
half thousand-year history, half everyday life.

Recently, OKet carefully organized a 4-day, 3-night team-building trip to Xi'an for all employees in multiple batches. 

Three groups set off successively on a journey to ancient Chang'an, 

unlocking the charm of the ancient capital and strengthening the warm power of team unity.

Ming City Wall

First encounter with Xi'an begins with a journey to the City Wall.

The Xi'an Ming City Wall is the largest and best-preserved ancient city fortification still existing in China.

Upon its ancient grey bricks, history and modernity intertwine, and every breeze seems to carry stories of the past.

Dazzling Datang Everbright City

After dinner, we visited the Datang Everbright City. 

Built upon the profound cultural heritage of the nearby Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, 

it has long become one of Xi'an's most iconic cultural and tourism landmarks.

As night falls, the city transforms into a vivid scene of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. 

Brilliant lights illuminate the streets, while Tang-style aesthetics fill every corner. 

With each step forward, it feels as if one has entered a dreamlike Chang'an, 

where history and modernity intertwine in a mesmerizing atmosphere.

Fun Team-Building Activities

As part of this team-building program, OKet carefully organized a series of fun and engaging group games, 

including "throwing sandbags" and "rolling the wheel", among others. 

All employees actively participated and interacted in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Every moment of tacit cooperation and every instance of working together toward a shared goal quietly strengthened the cohesion of the team. 

Through these activities, everyone gained a deeper understanding that only by moving forward with unity and shared purpose can we achieve greater success.

Daci'en Temple, Small Wild Goose Pagoda & Xi'an Museum

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we visited Daci'en Temple, 

the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, and Xi'an Museum, 

immersing ourselves in the thousand-year cultural heritage of Chang'an.

The Wild Goose Pagoda has stood tall for centuries, while the echoes of Master Xuanzang's Buddhist chants still seem to linger in the air. 

In Xi'an Museum, often described as "half of Chang'an's history in one museum", 

a rich collection of cultural relics is quietly displayed. 

Walking slowly through the halls, 

we reflected on the rise and fall of thirteen dynasties and the stories carried through time.

Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor – Terracotta Army Museum

Stepping into the Terracotta Army Museum, one of the Eight Wonders of the World, 

we were greeted by the vast and magnificent formation of life-sized clay warriors, 

each with a unique expression and posture.

The grand underground military array stands in silent formation, 

powerfully conveying the might of the Qin Empire and its historic unification of China. 

The silent yet imposing presence of the terracotta figures continues to tell the enduring story of an ancient imperial legacy.

Huaqing Palace (Tang Dynasty Hot Springs Site)

Huaqing Palace bears witness to the legendary love story between Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and Consort Yang, 

a romance that has been retold through generations. It was also the historical site of the famous "Xi'an Incident", marking a pivotal moment in modern Chinese history.

Walking into Huaqing Palace, visitors are greeted by elegant architecture and harmonious landscapes. 

Feishuang Hall and Furong Lake are arranged in perfect balance, 

where mountains and waters complement each other in a picturesque setting. 

Pavilions and terraces throughout the complex stand as enduring carriers of a thousand years of historical narratives and cultural memory.

Live Performance: "Camel Bell Legend Show"

The highlight of the journey was an immersive live performance, 

Camel Bell Legend. Set against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road, 

the show features dynamic stage settings, a compelling storyline, and stunning audiovisual effects.

It vividly portrays the prosperity and hardships of the ancient Silk Road, 

as well as the perseverance and determination of traveling merchants who braved vast distances to pursue their journeys.

Bailuyuan Film City

Stepping into Bailuyuan, we experienced the profound charm of Guanzhong culture. 

On the final day of the journey, we visited Bailuyuan Film City.

The former residence of Bai Jiaxuan, the Bai Lu ancestral hall, 

and the ancient-style streets faithfully recreate the rural setting described in the original novel. 

Within the simplicity of blue bricks and earth-toned walls, the traces of time can be clearly felt.

Strolling through the film set village, 

participants visited iconic scenes and watched the large-scale live-action special-effects gunfight performance 

"The Two Tigers Guard Chang'an" up close, enjoying a relaxed and leisurely pace that marked a perfect ending to the trip.

The meaning of travel goes far beyond the scenery itself.

We witnessed the profound heritage of millennia-old historical sites, 

experienced the brilliance of Tang Dynasty night landscapes, and enjoyed the joy of engaging team-building activities.

Through days of companionship and side-by-side journeys, 

we strengthened our team spirit and gained warmth, connection, and personal growth.

This journey to Xi'an has been a truly rewarding experience

—one that lived up to both time and every encounter along the way.
